When: The measure was passed by the Florida Legislature in the beginning of June 2026 and will appear on the November 2026 ballot.
Who: Applies primarily to homeowners with a Florida homestead exemption.
Impact: If approved by at least 60% of voters, many homeowners could see significant reductions in their property tax bills beginning in 2027.
